Kaiser Permanente is using music giveaways in its latest effort to encourage people to adopt healthy habits like daily exercise, maintaining a positive attitude, and getting a good night's sleep. Details vary from program to program, but all of Kaiser Permanente's music-based engagement programs revolve around free music downloads, which Kaiser Permanente members (and, in some cases, non-members) may redeem from Kaiser Permanente-branded websites.

These include open-enrollment campaigns and health fairs, the 2011 San Jose Summer Jazz Festival, the 2011 San Francisco Nike Women's Marathon, the 2012 San Francisco Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon, and more.

Timbre bases its music decisions on what will be relevant, useful and motivating to the intended audience.
