This Valentine's Day, Trulia conducted a national online survey gauging over 2,000 U.S. adults' attitudes on housing topics and how they come into play in the dating world.
WHAT:
KEY STATS BELOW.
1. Homeownership not a deal breaker when it comes to dating -- 63% of unmarried adults say renting versus owning doesn't matter when dating. However more women (36%) than men (19%) prefer dating a homeowner.
2. 74% of unmarried renters living alone say they are at least somewhat willing to shack up with their significant other to save money; more men than women say they'd be very willing!
3. Only 5% of unmarried U.S. adults would prefer to date someone who lives with their parents.
4. If they were in the market for their first home, both men and women say a master bathroom is the number one amenity that would make them fall in love with a home. Both men and women agree a walk-in closet takes 2nd place.
