Twitter went down today for nearly a half hour.
The site was offline for everybody, everywhere. It is mostly working again now.
Apps that rely on the Twitter service might still be having problems, according to Twitter's API Status page.
Twitter didn't explain what caused the outage. It merely acknowledged on its status page that engineers are working to fix it.
