Twitter plans to build standalone music app, CNET reports

Twitter bought music discovery service We Are Hunted last year and is planning to build a standalone music app, CNET reports. The app will be called Twitter Music and could be released on Apple's (AAPL) operating platform by the end of this month, CNET added, citing a person familiar with the matter. The move would likely put Twitter in competition with Pandora (P).
