U.S. indicts 13 members of hacker group Anonymous


WASHINGTON, Oct 3 (Reuters) - A U.S. grand jury on Thursdayindicted 13 members of the hacking group Anonymous over cyberattacks that were reported against government agencies, tradeassociations and others beginning in 2010, according to a copyof the indictment.

The indictment was filed in U.S. District Court inAlexandria, Virginia, and charges the members with conspiracy tointentionally cause damage to protected computers as part ofAnonymous' "Operation Payback."
