U.S. lawmakers say Huawei is security threat, Bloomberg reports

The U.S House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers told CBS New's 60 MInutes that U.S. companies thinking about making purchases from Huawei, China’s largest phone-equipment maker, should “find another vendor if you care about your intellectual property, if you care about your consumers’ privacy, and you care about the national security of the United States of America,” reports Bloomberg, adding that Representative Rogers and Maryland Representative C.A. “Dutch” Ruppersberge, are set to issue a report on October 8 of Huawei and another Chinese phone- equipment maker ZTE Corp (ZTCOY).
