Under Armour ups guidance

The athletic apparel company said Q1 EPS fell 50% to 7 cents, due to higher marketing and other costs. But EPS still beat views by 4 cents. Revenue rose 23% to $472 mil, topping views for $467.79 mil. Apparel revenue climbed 22% to $346 mil on its new Baselayer product and strong Fleece sales. Footwear sales rose 27% to $81 mil. Under Armour (UA) raised its '13 revenue outlook to $2.21 bil-$2.23 bil, up from a prior outlook for $2.20 bil-$2.22 bil. Shares rose 1.3% to 56.41.
