UniCredit, Intesa Sanpaolo among banks having derivatives probed, Reuters says

UniCredit (UNCFF) and Intesa Sanpaolo (INSPY) are among five Italian banks being investigated by a court over derivative trades, Reuters said, citing judicial sources. The report said this investigation began at least a year before the current Monte dei Paschi scandal and that Intesa said the probe dated back to 2010 and involved deals that were "negligible" and had no material impact.
