United Rentals Tops List of Connecticut's Most Honored Companies in Institutional Investor's All-America Executive Team Ranking

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2014) - United Rentals claims seven top-ranked positions in the 2015 All-America Executive Team survey, Institutional Investor's annual poll of investors and sell-side analysts regarding America's top executives, IR professionals and IR programs.

The equipment rental company's CEO Michael Kneeland, CFO William Plummer, IR Professional Fred Bratman and IR program each claimed at least one first-place position, putting United Rentals among a select group of Most Honored Companies.

The rest of Connecticut's Most Honored Companies are:

  • Aetna - Managed Care & Health Care Facilities

  • Hartford Financial Services Group - Insurance

  • United Technologies Corp. - Aerospace & Defense Electronics

  • Webster Financial Corp. - Banks/Midcap

Other notable Connecticut-based companies receiving strong marks include: Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Cigna Corp., General Electric Co., Genesee & Wyoming, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
