WICHITA, KS--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2013) - Universal Lubricants®, a leader in sustainable energy solutions, today announced the appointment of utility services veteran Thomas Fredrickson as the company's new vice president of human resources.

A member of Universal Lubricants' executive team, Fredrickson is an experienced executive who has serviced thousands of employees in nearly 20 years as a senior human resources leader. As Universal Lubricants grows and adapts to the rapidly changing commodities and industrial services marketplace, Frederickson will implement best practices in employee engagement and change management. He will be responsible for leading the company's strategic human resources planning, risk management, employee training and development, and compensation design.

He most recently served as director of human resources and risk management for Consolidated Utility Services in Omaha, Neb., where he counseled company executives and the board of directors on all aspects of human capital administration. Prior to joining Consolidated Utility Services, Frederickson served as human resources director at Roberts Dairy Company in Omaha, where he implemented pay for performance and sales incentive programs that drove results in efficiencies and profitability, and at West Central Development Corporation in Harlan, Iowa.
