The Evans Scholars Foundation awards college scholarships to high-achieving students in need. The Foundation provides full housing and tuition scholarships to deserving caddies across the country. Each year, more than 800 caddies across the United States attend college on a four-year scholarship from the Evans Scholars Foundation. USI Midwest has supported this foundation since the early 1980s. Thomas R. Binzer, president of USI Cincinnati office, Robert E. Lambert, vice president of USI Cincinnati, and David A. Nurre, benefits consultants of USI Cincinnati, helped found the USI Caddie Classic event, which has raised $2 million since 1987 for the Evans Scholars Foundation. All three were also Evans Scholars before going on to leadership roles at USI.
