NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- The Virginia Port Authority will hear presentations by three groups seeking to operate some of the state's ports.
APM Terminals, RREEF America L.L.C. and Virginia International Terminals Inc. are scheduled to speak to the authority's board of commissioners on Tuesday in Norfolk. Detailed proposals are due Dec. 3.
Officials say the review process could be concluded by next May.
The Port of Virginia is the third-largest port on the East Coast.
