New Veterinarian Joins Roosevelt Veterinary Center in Brewster

BREWSTER, NY--(Marketwire -01/05/12)- Roosevelt Veterinary Center in Brewster, N.Y. announced the addition of a new veterinarian to the animal hospital. Dr. Julianne Meisner is a recent graduate of Royal Veterinary College in Scotland. She completed veterinary internship work in Uganda, South Africa and Ireland. The animal vet clinic provides routine wellness care, low-cost spay and neuter services, vaccinations, pet grooming and 24-hour emergency care.

Roosevelt veterinarian Dr. Allison Glassman announced that the Roosevelt Veterinary Center has added a new member to its veterinary team: Dr. Julianne Meisner.

"We are excited to welcome Dr. Meisner to our animal hospital," said Dr. Glassman. "Dr. Meisner is originally from Connecticut. She brings extensive experience providing veterinary care abroad, in addition to her veterinary studies in Scotland, and we are thrilled to welcome her back home to the New York area as she begins her practice with our vet clinic."

Dr. Meisner graduated from Royal Veterinary College in Scotland in June 2011. While studying for her veterinary degree, Dr. Meisner also completed study abroad veterinary internships in Uganda, South Africa and Ireland. As a veterinarian at the Roosevelt animal clinic, Dr. Meisner will provide routine wellness services, including annual examinations and vaccinations.

"I have always loved animals and from an early age had a passion for providing care," said Dr. Meisner. "My experience working in Uganda, South Africa and Ireland gave me the opportunity to practice veterinary care in a wide variety of clinic settings. I'm excited to return to the New York region and begin my professional veterinary career.
