GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Clothing company VF Corp. said Wednesday that its board elected Beam Inc. President and CEO Matthew Shattock as a director.
Shattock, 50, has led the spirits company since 2009, first as a division of Fortune Brands and since 2011 as an independent public company. He also serves on its board. Shattock's election as a VF director took effect Tuesday.
Before joining Deerfield, Ill.-based Beam, Shattock held a variety of executive positions at Unilever PLC and Cadbury PLC, VF said.
Shares of Greensboro, N.C.-based VF fell 45 cents to $152.23 in morning trading.
