VGTel - 360 Entertainment & Productions Begins Switzerland Stage of Production of 'Perfect Flight: Return to Everest,' Featuring World-Renowned Flyer Joby Ogwyn

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 15, 2014) - (VGTL) - VGTel - 360 Entertainment & Productions announced today that much-anticipated filming is officially underway in Switzerland for its epic Giant Screen film, Perfect Flight: Return to Everest, featuring world renowned wing-suit flyer Joby Ogwyn.

The filmmakers of Grand Schema Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of VGTel - 360 Entertainment & Productions, have begun principal photography in the exhilarating landscape of Switzerland's most breathtaking and majestic pinnacles for Perfect Flight, an original Giant Screen film that will culminate with Ogywn flying from Mount Everest, the highest peak on earth.

"Joby is the Michael Jordan of his sport," said Greg Wells, CEO of 360 Entertainment & Productions. "And the supporting team behind 'Perfect Flight' is delivering at the same level of performance and industry significance."

Perfect Flight: Return to Everest is being produced for Giant Screen theaters worldwide, but also will also be released for 4K UHD broadcast. 360 Entertainment & Productions began financing the digital scanning for a series of Giant Screen films to 4K format back in December 2013.

"We are on a committed march for additional 4K titles to expand our library of films," Wells said. "Our industry presence not only includes original productions, but also scanning projects at our Austin-based studio Motion Picture Scanning Services, and through acquisitions and partnerships."

Perfect Flight is directed by Grand Schema's Christopher J. Scott, whose decorated career includes the snowboarding seminal 'Snow Blind,' and the acclaimed short film 'You and I,' which premiered at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. His clients include National Geographic, Major League Baseball, ESPN and the HBO.

"There is no way to duplicate the film experience of a movie of this proportion as the Swiss Alps is the birthplace of this sport and counter culture. We've already have accomplished some breathtaking footage," said Scott.

Giant Screen fans are eagerly awaiting the performance of Ogwyn and the jaw-dropping ingenuity required by 'Perfect Flight' filmmakers. In May 2014, the Discovery Channel had planned to film Ogwyn's prior attempt to become the first person to jump from the top of Everest and fly down to Base Camp in a wing-suit.

The event was cancelled when 13 Sherpa guides were killed in an avalanche, the single deadliest accident in the mountain's history.

Grand Schema will release Perfect Flight: Return to Everest through its Los Angeles-based distributor K2 Communications.
