TWST: Please begin with an overview and brief history of Haverford Trust Company.

Ms. Wietlisbach: Haverford Trust was founded in 1979 on the notion and idea of providing a very high-quality investment product with very high-quality service. We were originally founded as a registered investment adviser and added trust powers in 1985.

Today we are a state chartered trust company. We have more than $7 billion in assets under management or consultation, and we still follow the quality investing philosophy that our firm was founded on coupled with a very high-quality level of service for our clients.

TWST: Can you also share your own career highlights and the steps that led you to your present position as the firm's President?

Ms. Wietlisbach: For approximately seven years prior to joining Haverford in 1992, I worked at Meridian Bank. I was in the retail system, and then I was in private banking. I came to Haverford in 1992 originally as a Portfolio Manager, but also as a member of the Executive Committee, and I have been on the Executive Committee for 22 years.
