Water Technologies, Inc. Announces First Orders for the Company's Custom Air Cooling Products for Licensed and Approved Medical Marijuana Grow Operations in Arizona

GR8 Water Enters the Medical Marijuana Equipment Market and Ships a Custom Commercial Cooling Unit

Marketwired

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL--(Marketwired - Jan 9, 2014) - Water Technologies International, Inc. (OTC Pink: WTII), the leader in the technology in atmospheric water production and design, today announced it has received and shipped its first order of specialized units to Zoned Properties, Inc., a public company (OTC Pink: ZDPY) and licensed Medical Marijuana business operator in Arizona. The recent expansion and acceptance of the Medical Marijuana industry now within 20 States, has created high demand for customized cooling and humidity control units specifically designed to meet the needs of large scale grow operations and green houses. The custom units will be able to generate water as well as clean, dehumidify, cool and heat the air in the grow areas. The units are of high quality and have backup systems to protect the valuable inventory. The Company expects to add several new products such as custom chillers, humidification, dehumidification, irrigation for the greenhouse agricultural industry. The Company has shipped the first 10 ton custom commercial cooling units to Arizona.

Water Technologies seeks to capitalize on the rapidly increasing demand for safe, organic produce and alternative medicine. The Company is committed to establishing itself as a leader in both indoor and outdoor grow technology by providing customized and innovative cooling solutions for large scale, licensed grow operations, greenhouses and medical marijuana dispensaries in Arizona and other state where cannabis is now legal.

The state of Arizona sold roughly $40 million worth of cannabis and infused products during the past 12 months, according to Marijuana Business Daily's analysis of data provided by the state. That amounts to about $520,000 in sales per dispensary. This represents the first solid look at sales in Arizona's medical marijuana market. The state's cannabis industry appears to be running on all cylinders and now ranks as one of the top five MMJ markets in the country based on annual revenues. WTII will continue to develop its proprietary cooling and grow technologies while expanding its global reach through a series of organic growth opportunities and marketing objectives

The company is committed to further establishing itself as a leader in the sale of customized indoor cooling and humidity control units for large scale, licensed grow operations in legal jurisdictions including mini-greenhouses.

The Medical Marijuana industry has grown to over 20 states and is now legal for recreational use in Colorado and will be in Washington state and possible several other states. The state expects to tax the sales of marijuana and generate significant revenues. The industry is waiting on federal reforms on banking and the sale of infused products. The medical and recreational use of marijuana is certain to increase the demand for the all of the products associated with cannabis. The real estate in specially zoned areas and all the ancillary business related to the production and sale of cannabis will flourish for years to come.

Water Technologies, Inc.'s CEO, William Scott Tudor, said, "We continue to custom design new products and make our existing products more efficient. The new industry of medical and recreational marijuana is a fast growing industry that will have many beneficiaries. We believe that our proprietary Atmospheric Water Generators, along with custom chillers and units that control humidity and control air flow provide a quality solution for indoor and outdoor agriculture. The growing demand for clean water creates significant revenue opportunities for our Company and in time will create real value for our shareholders".

Zoned Properties, Inc.'s CEO, Marc Brannigan added, "As Zoned Properties, Inc begins to close on properties that will be used for growing medical marijuana, we want to make sure our tenants have the best equipment both in terms of performance but also reliability. We think Water Technologies' units represent a unique and reliable system and as such we have decided to purchase and install the units for our planned sites"
