Websites: Unready for tablets?

A study by e-commerce and online marketing software provider Skava showed that only 7% of top Web-based U.S. retailers have optimized websites for tablet computers vs. 95% for smartphones. The report didn't name retailers but said online leaders, which would include Amazon.com (AMZN) and the Apple (AAPL) Store, should focus on tablet shoppers over smartphone shoppers. Amazon shares fell 1.1%. Apple fell 2.1%.
