World 100 Seed Industry Giants Surveyed in New In-Demand Plimsoll Research Study Now Available at MarketPublishers.com

Of all the seed industry giants examined, US-based Monsanto and Dupont Pioneer lead the pack, controlling over half of all seed sales in the world.

According to the survey results, 5 out of all the seed companies examined have become attractive takeover targets. In 2011, 29 out of 100 companies achieved sales increase of over 10%, while 17 companies posted a drop in sales during the same year. Additionally, 13 out of 100 seed majors incurred pre-tax losses, and 9 firms were rated as danger.
