February 4, 2014 Corona, CA - EXTREME BIODIESEL, INC. (XTRM) today announced that the Company has entered the Cannabis / Medical Marijuana and Hemp industries to capitalize on opportunities and business relationships it has in the sector.
The Company has already begun forming a subsidiary called XTRM Cannabis Ventures and is developing a website for the subsidiary at http://xtrmcannabisventures.com/.
Company President Joseph Spadafore stated "Recent actions by the U.S. House of Representatives, statements made by U.S. President Barack Obama and the Legalization of Marijuana in Colorado helped to influence our decision to enter the marketplace. The Marijuana sector has tremendous growth potential that many feel will continue for years to come. Using existing relationships with others involved in the industry such as product developers and legal dispensaries we believe XTRM Cannabis Ventures will quickly become the companies fastest growth subsidiary."
Mr. Spadafore further stated, "Our existing business of Biodiesel Production will benefit from the addition of XTRM Cannabis Ventures. As of Wednesday, January 29, 2014, pursuant to the passage of the farm bill, the cultivation of industrial hemp is legal on a Federal level and is clearing the way for industrial hemp pilot programs in states such as Colorado, Washington, California, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Vermont and West Virginia, where growing the plant is legal. One of the largest issues with Biodiesel Refining is the location of product to convert to Biodiesel. HEMP is now a legal viable option. The technology used by Extreme Biodiesel can be used to produce Biodiesel from Hemp and the Company is already marketing units."
Lastly "As stated in previous press releases Extreme Biodiesel Inc. has started the process of transitioning its business model into that of a holdings corporation. One of our planned subsidiaries operates in the Real Estate Sector. XTRM Cannabis is currently investigating several properties that could be acquired for the purposes of Cultivation, and or resale of Cannabis / Medical Marijuana and/or Hemp."
The Company would like to assure all investors that in all cannabis related actions the Company is conferring with counsel to be sure any business activities are deemed legal. XTRM advises all investors to see the website being developed at http://xtrmcannabisventures.com/
