New 400-Seat Restaurant Serves Up Classic American Comfort Food in Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Aug 2, 2013) - The New York Marriott Downtown hotel at 85 West Street in Lower Manhattan is thrilled to welcome Bill's Bar & Burger, the fourth location of Bill's Bar & Burger, BR Guest Hospitality's winning restaurant concept, featuring classic American comfort food. Since July 15, its first week of opening, the restaurant has welcomed hundreds of visitors, residents and workers downtown to enjoy its signature flattop griddled burgers, hand-dipped milkshakes and over 100 craft beers.

Bill's Bar & Burger and Bill's West Side Bar occupies two spaces within the 497-room downtown hotel. The 400-seat spot, including 235 seats in the main dining room, 14 seats in the outdoor café, and 15 seats at the bar, has a casual vibe thanks to décor, featuring a mix of tin and dark woods, industrial lighting, and art from emerging artists on the walls. A standing counter, sculptural light fixtures and checkered tablecloths add to the nostalgic environment.

Filling out the menu are items ranging from $11-$25, including Bill's Breakfast Burger, Slow Roasted Pork Tacos, Kansas City Baby Back Ribs, and Bill's "Fat Cat," dubbed one of CNN's Top 10 Burgers in 2013.
