ZenCash Achieves Quarter Billion Dollars in Invoices Under Management, Appoints Elaine O’Gorman as President and Chief Operating Officer

Leading Cloud-Based Accounts Receivable Solution Recruits Expert in Hyper-Growth Business

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

ZenCash, the leading cloud-based accounts receivable solution, today announced the appointment of Elaine O’Gorman as its president and chief operating officer. O’Gorman will focus on streamlining delivery of service, expanding ZenCash’s network of accounting application partners, and helping customers get paid faster.

“In the first 12 months in business, ZenCash has added nearly 1,000 users representing over a quarter billion dollars in open invoices,” said O’Gorman. “ZenCash is on a mission to automate the entire process of getting paid for our customers–from elegant workflows that help AR professionals focus on their highest value targets, to automated multichannel communications streams that work for any size business. We’ve seen tremendous success to date and are poised for explosive growth.”

O’Gorman has more than 15 years of experience as a general manager, strategist and C-level executive across disciplines from marketing to finance to technology. Often described as an executive addicted to hyper-growth companies, O’Gorman was part of the team that grew the American Airlines website, AA.com, from $200 million to $1 billion in two years. Subsequently, she ran product and marketing for SaaS marketing technology provider Silverpop through its 10x growth in five years. Most recently, O’Gorman served as CMO at the online financial exchange, The Receivables Exchange, from its first year through its billion-dollar trading milestone. An experienced board member, O’Gorman serves on several private company boards as well as on the board of TeXchange, the premier technology entrepreneur community in Texas. She holds business degrees from both The Wharton School and the Ross School at the University of Michigan.

“Elaine is known for joining later stage, high-growth companies,” said Brandon Cotter, founder and CEO of ZenCash. “The timing of her arrival is ideal as we get ready to unveil a series of new solutions for mid-market firms in the coming months. Disruptive companies require the right mix of flexible, lean-startup thinking with the operational discipline to execute. Elaine’s depth of experience in those areas will prove invaluable to ZenCash.”

In the two years since forming the company, ZenCash has received numerous accolades from sources like Forbes, VentureBeat and TechCrunch, as well as five-star ratings from sources like Intuit’s QuickBooks and GetApp. ZenCash is relentless in its advocacy of user-centered design and building experiences that are not just useful but joyful—and even fun. ZenCash uses a full range of tools to create that sense of fun and advocacy, as can be seen in the current “Help Us Create a Sweet New Demo Video” experience, which is open to the public.
