To Ursula Edwards: Seattle is rainy, damp, and the chill in the air in the winter months penetrate to the bone. I moved here a year ago and my first year was disappointing. I am looking forward to moving to a warmer climate. Seattle, for me, sucks.

It figures. Working age population is 4,288,189 while the population is 418,000 according to the US Census. A lot of people working there, but not many living there!

besides the retirees, who else has their hands in the cookie jar?
      • Buck Green 2 months ago
The politicians also have their hands in the cookie jar, Jim and they rarely take them out between signing themselves up for raises.

Washington...The parasite center of the world! Everyone on the public dole before and after retirement! If the whole #$%$ area disappeared in a big mushroom cloud, no taxpayer would even notice a drop in services and it may even be worth instituting a new national holiday; Without leaches day!

I guess you have to first define work when you deal with workers in Washington DC.. Most are government workers feeding off the taxpayer money..

Loved Dc when I was young and working. But prices are high on housing, food and just about everything else. It is a dress up town and when you are older, Do you want to wear hgh heels to go to the grocery??? I live in a little mountain town in AZ now and the snow is #$%$ deep but my husband has to have something to do.

madison is an ice cold place to live. The people are communists and the city is devoid of character. It is a transient town and factory for putting out liberal big governmnet socialists and marxists.

The ecomony is gooG FOR THE PUBLIC SECTOR BROWNSHIRTS becuase all the tax dollars in the staTE go there to pay government workers.

Madison is a great place to live, 'liberals' or not. Maybe you can move to Las Vegas, with all the cockroaches our porous borders have blessed them with.
    • joseph  •  5 months ago
Can't afford to live in D.C. Alaska or Southern Conn. unless you work till you die !!!!!

Madison is the liberal capital of the north and Trenton is a ghetto , better do some more homework !!!
