Sam Weaver, CEO of Cool Energy, watches as the company's innovative Stirling engine technology produces electricity from the wasted heat of a 30kW diesel generator. This week, the Boulder, Colorado company successfully demonstrated how its 3kW SolarHeart(R) Engine can improve fuel efficiencies by 10% by recovering and converting waste heat in the exhaust from stationary engines - whether they're powered by diesel, gasoline or natural gas - with no additional carbon emissions or pollutants.
