New Zealand?s trade minister said China has stopped imports of all milk powder from New Zealand and Australia, after bacteria that can cause botulism was found in some dairy products and raised safety concerns, particularly in the infant formula market. The dairy giant Fonterra, which is based in New Zealand, identified eight companies to which it had sold contaminated whey protein concentrate that was exported to China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Saudi Arabia Canada's air transport regulator is drawing up a safety directive concerning the emergency beacons at the center of an investigation into a fire on a parked Boeing 787 Dreamliner last month, it said. The Nigerian village that suffered one of the world's worst recorded incidents of lead poisoning is now habitable and doctors can start treating more than 1,000 contaminated children.
