Film News Pop: So? Jay Z's 'Picasso Baby' is Now a Performance Art Film
Remember when Jay Z spent six hours at the Pace Gallery in New York City earlier this month? You know, that time when he lip-synched to "Picasso Baby" in front of museum goers and invited the likes of Judd Apatow, Alan Cumming and the great Marina Abramovic? HBO has released a 31-second preview of Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film, set to premiere on Aug. 2 at 11 p.m., appropriately following Jay Z?s appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher. The final episodes of the wildly popular "Breaking Bad" will start airing next month, and just a day later, they'll be available to Netflix customers in the U.K. and Ireland. Starting August 12 -- a day after the show returns -- its streaming customers in the U.K. and Ireland will be able to stream the latest "Breaking Bad" episode. If we needed any more proof that George Clooney is the king of Hollywood, here's some: He could become the first producer since David O. Selznick to win back-to-back Best Picture Oscars - and if you want to get technical, the first in the history of Hollywood to officially be the recipient two years in a row.
