FILE - In this Feb. 23, 2010 file photo, James E. Lentz, president and chief operating officer, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., testifies on Capitol Hill in Washington before the House Oversight and Investigations subcommittee hearing on Toyota recall. Toyota has tapped Mark Hogan, a former executive at U.S. rival General Motors, to be on its board, the first time in the Japanese automaker's 76-year history it is appointing board members from outside the company. Under the changes announced Wednesday, March 6, 2013, by President Akio Toyoda, Toyota promoted four non-Japanese managers to oversee regional businesses, including Lentz. He will head the North American region, effective April 1. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon, File) less
