In this Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 photo, Japan's main opposition Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Shinzo Abe speaks during a campaign rally for the Dec. 16 parliamentary elections in Machida, on the outskirts of Tokyo. Former Prime Minister Abe, who is poised to head the government again if his LDP does as well most polls are forecasting, favors forcing the central bank to do whatever it takes to meet an inflation target, of perhaps 2 percent, to break the economy out of its deflationary funk. The party slogan on his jacket read: We get back Japan. (AP Photo/Itsuo Inouye) less
