Restoration at the Federal Hall

The George Washington statue in front of Federal Hall is undergoing restoration. The building serves as a museum and memorial to the first President and the beginnings of the United States of America. Washington took his oath of office on the steps of the building and it was home to the first Congress, Supreme Court, and Executive Branch offices.
