To fight the devastating trend of wild pollinators and bee population decline, a U.S. based nonprofit, Bees for Trees is helping families in Costa Rica become beekeepers. It provides participating families, such as Jaime Zuniga, shown here, a zero-interest micro-loan to begin producing honey from 10 hives -- enough to increase household and protect an important wild pollinator habitat.
