Wine experts: EU vintners recover from bad harvest

FILE - This Monday, Oct. 7 , 2013, file photo shows workers collecting red grapes in the vineyards of the famed Chateau Haut Brion, a Premier Grand Cru des Graves, during the grape harvest in Pessac-Leognan, near Bordeaux, southwestern France. The grape harvest in the European Union has picked up from the extremely bad 2012 season but still left key wine regions like France’s Bordeaux and Bourgogne struggling because of inclement weather. After several wine producing regions were left with the worst harvest in half a century last year, the European vintners want to regain global market share with a more bountiful harvest to serve clients as far as China and the United States.
