AstraZeneca’s move on Monday to cap at $35 the out-of-pocket costs that patients pay for the company’s Symbicort inhaler speaks to the political and regulatory pressure coming to bear on manufacturers of certain commonly used but expensive treatments. The British drugmaker’s shift follows a similar step last month by Boehringer Ingelheim, which sells rival inhalers including Atrovent and Spiriva. Sen.
