In addition, the company provides network solutions comprising in-building wireless coverage/capacity solutions; mobile network solutions, which include base stations, base station controllers, and mobile switching centers; outdoor wireless coverage/capacity solutions; and wireline solutions enabling communications service providers to deliver voice and data services. Further, it offers professional services consisting of systems integration services for broadband, multiservice communications over wireline, wireless, cable, and enterprise networks. The company serves local telephone companies, long-distance carriers, private enterprise network operators, wireless service providers, cable television operators and broadcasters; business customers and governmental agencies; and communications equipment vendors. ADC sells its products through sales personnel, value-added resellers, distributors, manufacturers representatives, independent sales representatives, and public and private network providers. The company, formerly known as Magnetic Controls Company, was founded in 1935 and is headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. |
