As of March 31, 2008, the company had 3,887 iways in 180 cities, of which 3,853 cybercafes were franchised and 34 cybercafes were owned and operated by the company. Sify Technologies also owned and operated 481 telecommunication facilities in approximately 400 cities that enable its customers to connect to the Internet through a local telephone call. The company serves information technology enabled services, banking financial services and insurance, publishing, retail, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing industries. It has a strategic partnership with the Power Grid Corporation of India to provide enterprise network services.
