| Teekay LNG Partners L.P. provides marine transportation services for liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and crude oil. It transports LPGs, including propane, butane, and ethane; petrochemical gases, such as ethylene, propylene, and butadiene; and ammonia. The company offers its services under various contractual relationships, such as time charters, where vessels are chartered to customers for a fixed period of time at fixed rates; and voyage charters, which are charters for shorter intervals. As of April 1, 2008, its fleet consisted of 9 LNG carriers with approximately 1.16 million cubic meters of capacity; 8 Suezmax class crude oil tankers with 1,252,700 deadweight tones; and 1 LPG carrier.
