| AngioDynamics, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and markets various therapeutic and diagnostic devices that enable interventional physicians to treat peripheral vascular disease, tumors, and other non-coronary diseases. It operates in three segments: Peripheral Vascular, Access, and Oncology/Surgery. The Peripheral Vascular segment offers and manages venous, angiographic, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA), drainage, thrombolytic, targeted renal therapy, micro access, and transjugular access product lines. Its venous products include VenaCure and Sotradecol products; angiographic product line comprises angiographic catheters, entry needles, guidewires, and fluid management products; PTA product line consists of PTA dilation balloon catheters, including WORKHORSE and PROFILER to open blocked blood vessels and dialysis access sites; drainage product line includes TOTAL ABSCESSION general drainage catheters; and thrombolytic product line comprises PULSE SPRAY, UNI FUSE, and SPEEDLYSER catheters. The Access segment provides and manages dialysis, port, and PICC product lines. Its dialysis product line includes dialysis catheters, which are marketed under the DuraMax, SCHON, EVENMORE, DURA-FLOW, SCHON XL, and LIFEJET F-16 brands. The Oncology/Surgery segment offers radio frequency ablation products, which include radiofrequency ablation (RFA) disposable electrodes, RF resection device, and RFA generators; embolization products; and NanoKnife products, based on the principles of Irreversible Electroporation. The company offers its products to interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and surgical oncologists through a direct sales force in the United States and through a combination of direct sales and distributor relationships internationally.
