Further, it provides ENT Products for use by ENT surgeons for general head, neck, and oral surgical procedures, including sinus surgery, the treatment of snoring, reduction of nasal turbinates, adenoid, and tonsil removal. Additionally, the company offers products used in situations of significant nosebleed or epistaxis and treatments in an emergency room setting or surgicenter. ArthroCare also provides products for the treatment for herniated discs and used to reduce the size of malignant lesions, as well as for treatments requiring the removal of soft tissue in the spine. It offers needles for vertebral access and bone biopsy, cement delivery systems, and bone cement with opacifiers and ancillary devices, which are used for the repair of vertebral compression fractures. The company markets its products to medical professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, and other specialized medical professionals through direct sales professionals, independent sales agents, and independent distributors.
