The companys ATK Mission Systems segment offers missile systems, precision-guided munitions, force protection systems, soldier weapon systems, barrier systems, large-caliber ammunition, tactical and hypersonic propulsion systems, warheads, fuzes, missile defense divert and control systems, electronic warfare and aircraft integration products, structural and engine components, radomes, and apertures. Alliant Techsystems ATK Space Systems segment manufactures human and cargo launch vehicles, conventional and strategic missiles, missile defense interceptors, and decoy and illuminating flares. This segment also offers solar arrays and solar panel substrates; radio frequency antenna reflectors and antennas; composite bus structures, towers, and subsystems; thermal systems; titanium propellant tanks; and insertion motors, as well as technical services. It operates in the United States, Puerto Rico, and internationally. The company was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. |
