It also provides specialty vascular access catheters and ports, vascular access ultrasound devices, dialysis access catheters, and enteral feeding devices to treat and manage various cancers and other diseases and disorders. In addition, the company offers surgical specialty products, such as implanted grafts and fixation devices for hernia and soft tissue repair products; surgical sealants for intraoperative sealing of air leaks in thoracic surgery; and other products that include irrigation, wound drainage, and original equipment manufacturers’ products. It sells its products directly to hospitals, individual healthcare professionals, extended care facilities, and alternate site facilities, as well as through hospital/surgical supply and other medical specialty distributors. C. R. Bard, Inc. was founded in 1907 and is headquartered in Murray Hill, New Jersey.
