Its products include residential heating and air conditioning filters, which are sold through retailers under the Flanders~Precisionaire brand name; and industrial specialty filters for various industries, including paint facilities, automobile factories, chemical treatment plants, mushroom farms, coal mines, oil refineries, and power plants. The companys products also include residential air cleaners to clean the air in a room and remove airborne contaminants from residences; after-market replacement filters; and high efficiency particulate air filters for use in semiconductor facilities, nuclear containment vessels, disease containment facilities, and other critical applications. In addition, its products include commercial and industrial filters for use in office and general manufacturing environments that are sold through wholesalers and distributors; absolute isolation barriers to control contaminants, atmospheric composition, and containment; and carbon filters, which are used to remove gaseous contaminants, odors, and toxic chemical vapors in various commercial and industrial applications. Further, the companys products include specialized air filter housings for use in multi-stage filtration applications; surface finishing filters for paint booth or surface finishing application in the surface finishing market; and other related products, including ductwork and equipment cleaning chemicals, custom air handlers, and specialized filter housings. It sells products through domestic specialty clean room contractors and foreign distributors in the United States, Mexico, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. Flanders Corporation was founded in 1986 and is based in Washington, North Carolina. |
