The company also provides services, such as offshore interconnect pipe hook-up; inshore marine construction; manufacture and repair of pressure vessels; heavy lifts, such as ship integration and TLP module integration; loading and offloading jack-up drilling rigs, semi-submersible drilling rigs, TLPs, SPARs, or other similar cargo; refurbishing existing platforms; steel warehousing and sales; and onshore and offshore scaffolding and piping insulation services. In addition, it fabricates piles and other rolled goods; templates; bridges for connecting offshore platforms; wellhead protectors; various production, compressor, and utility modules; and other structures used in offshore oil and gas production and development activities. Further, the company involves in inshore steel and wood structure construction; and fabrication of pressure vessels and packaged skid units. Gulf Island serves oil and gas exploration and production companies primarily in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as in north Africa, west Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, the Caribbean, Offshore Canada, and the North Sea.
