The company operates in three segments: Benefits Outsourcing, Human Resource Business Process Outsourcing (HR BPO), and Consulting. The Benefits Outsourcing segment offers defined benefit or pension plan administration; defined contribution plan administration; and health and welfare plan administration services, as well as point solutions, which provide standalone HR outsourcing services, such as absence management, clinical advocacy, flexible spending account administration, claims and appeals, total rewards, and dependent audit services. The HR BPO segment provides core process management services, including workforce administration and payroll services; workforce management services comprising compensation administration services, total rewards services, leave and absence management services, and workforce analytics services; and talent management services, such as recruiting, learning and development, performance management, and succession planning services. The Consulting segment offers retirement and financial management consulting services, such as designing retirement program strategies, providing actuarial analyses and financial strategies, and consulting on investment related issues; and health management consulting services, which help clients in assessing health plans, designing solutions to meet business goals and the health needs, and measuring and managing results in areas of employee health and productivity. This segment also provides talent and organization consulting services, including recommending compensation and performance management programs, resolving people-related issues, and analyzing the activities and costs of the human resources function.
