The companys products are also used in detection, measurement, and imaging applications, including military communication, targeting, guidance, and electronic countermeasure systems; commercial, scientific, and military spacecraft; automotive collision avoidance systems; medical imaging systems; and industrial test equipment. It also outsources wafer manufacturing to multiple third party fabricators and foundries. Hittite Microwave Corporation sells its products through direct sales force and applications engineering staff, sales representatives, and distributors, as well as through its Web site.
