FUND SUMMARY

The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund seeks to invest all of assets in the HSBC Investor Growth Portfolio which normally invests in U.S. and foreign equity securities of high quality companies with market capitalizations generally in excess of $2 billion, which the sub-adviser believes have the potential to generate superior levels of long-term profitability and growth. The portfolio may invest up to 20% of its assets in bonds and other debt securities.
