Its patient support systems also comprise bedside cabinets; adjustable-height overbed tables; mattresses; patient room furniture; surgical table accessories; and architectural products, including headwalls and power columns, which enables medical gases, communication accessories, and electrical services to be distributed in patient rooms. Hill-Rom Holdings rents and sells non invasive therapeutic products and surfaces primarily to acute, extended, and home care customers for various acute and chronic medical conditions, such as pulmonary, wound, circulatory, and bariatric conditions. It also provides peak-need rentals and full-hospital asset management services for moveable medical equipment comprising ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring equipment. In addition, the company develops and markets various communications technologies and software solutions, such as a suite of clinical communication and productivity solutions, NaviCare patient flow management system, and WatchChild obstetric data management system. Further, it operates hospital bed, therapy bed, and patient room equipment manufacturing and development facilities. Hill-Rom Holdings sells its products through direct sales force and distributors.
