Its zircon products are used in the production of ceramics, including tiles, sanitary and tableware, refractories, foundry and casting applications, zirconium-based chemicals, nuclear fuel rods, and specialized metal alloys; and titanium minerals are used as a principal feedstock for pigment production, as well as for the manufacture of chloride pigment with applications in the manufacture of titanium sponge, welding flux agent, and a range of other uses.
