| The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors® Global Coal Index.
The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. The index is comprised of companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from coal operation (production and mining), coal transportation and production of coal mining equipment. Such companies may include small- and medium-capitalization companies and foreign and emerging market issuers, including Chinese issuers. It is non-diversified. |
