| Advent/Claymore Enhanced Growth & Income Fund is a closed-ended balanced mutual fund launched and managed by Advent Capital Management, LLC. It is co-managed by Claymore Advisors, LLC. The fund invests in the public equity and fixed income markets across the globe. It seeks to invest in stocks of companies operating across the diversified sectors. The fund invests in convertible securities and nonconvertible high-yield securities rated Ba or lower by Moody's or BB or lower by S&P. It intends to engage in an option strategy of writing (selling) covered call options on at least 50% of the securities held in the portfolio. The fund employs fundamental analysis with bottom-up stock picking approach to create its portfolio. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the CBOE S&P 500 2% OTM BuyWrite Index. The fund was formerly known as the Advent Claymore Global Convertible Opportunities & Income Fund. Advent/Claymore Enhanced Growth & Income Fund was formed on January 30, 2004 and is domiciled in the United States. |
