The Ladenburg segment engages in investment banking activities comprising corporate finance and strategic and financial advisory services; and sales and trading business, as well as provides research services, including reviewing and analyzing general market conditions and other industry groups, issuing written reports on companies, furnishing information to retail and institutional customers, and responding to inquires from customers and account executives. This segment also offers various asset management products and services comprise asset management program, investment consulting services, alternative strategies fund, private investment management program, retirement plan sponsor services, alternative investments, architect program, and third-party advisory services.
