This segment also provides specialty pharmaceutical solutions for biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturers; and practice management, technology, clinical support, and business solutions to oncology and other specialty practices operating in the community setting. In addition, this segment sells financial, operational, and clinical solutions for retail, hospital, and alternate site pharmacies; and provides consulting and outsourcing services. The McKesson Technology Solutions segment delivers enterprise-wide clinical, patient care, financial, supply chain, and strategic management software solutions, as well as pharmacy automation solutions for hospitals; and connectivity, claims processing, outsourcing, and other services, including remote hosting and managed services to healthcare organizations. This segment also offers InterQual clinical criteria solution, claims payment solutions, and network performance tools. This segment’s customers include hospitals, physicians, homecare providers, retail pharmacies, and payers in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, other European countries, and Israel.
